The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride 2016, Los Angeles
On September 25th I dappered up with a bow tie, tweed pants, newsboy hat, and some brown leather laces ups to ride my motorcycle for a charitable cause. That cause, is The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride. Originally founded in Sydney, Australia, this ride is now done around the world on the same day every year. The foundation raises money for prostate cancer, and suicide prevention.
This years ride met up Downtown next to the Civic Center. The excitement build as the dapper ladies and gentleman rolled up on their vintage, cafe racers, classic, bobber motorcycles, and mopeds.
It's now 11 am, and the ride is about to begin. Engines began to rev and the air was being filled with exhaust fumes. We rolled off and the temperature quickly rose. As we made our way through DTLA, people whipped out their phones to catch a glimpse of these fine dapper people on their cool AF motorcycles.
From Downtown, to Echo park, Silver lake, Hollywood, Beverly hills, Westwood, Santa Monica, Venice beach, and finally Culver city. Every corner had people ooo'ing and ah'ing. Below is a quick glimpse of the day.
